Picking your Fantasy Premier League squad for the upcoming Gameweek will be rather difficult given that there are only six matches being played.
Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Everton, West Ham United, Watford, Liverpool, and Chelsea will not feature as they will be playing in the FA Cup this weekend.
This leaves only six fixtures left to be played as Fantasy players could use the lack of matches to overtake their opponents.
Using more than one differential for the upcoming Gameweek could do wonders for your squad given that some Fantasy teams will have less than 11 players on the field.
Last week we went with City midfielder David Silva, Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, and Reds attacker Adam Lallana.
Silva came out the best of the lot as he registered nine points following his team’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa, while Pelle and Lallana only managed two points each.
So, here are three possible Fantasy Premier League differentials ahead of Gameweek 30.
Xherdan Shaqiri
Stoke City star Xherdan Shaqiri (6.4 and owned by 2.0%) would be a great differential option given his form in recent matches. Despite picking up only two points in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea, he managed to register five, seven, and nine, ahead of his trip to Stamford Bridge.
Shaqiri could get back to his best when his side take on Southampton, who have been struggling to pick up a run of results in recent matches. The Saints have failed to win their last three Premier League matches, losing two and drawing one. The winger may now take advantage of their decline in form by adding to his tally of three goals and five assists.
Kevin Wimmer
Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Kevin Wimmer (4.6 and owned by 0.5%) could be an interesting selection given that he is bound to register another 90 minutes of football due to the injury to Jan Vertonghen.
With Spurs taking on last place Aston Villa this weekend, Wimmer could be in line to pick up a clean sheet as his opponents are bound to struggle once again. He has only featured seven times this season, but so far managed to register two clean sheets in the process.
Benik Afobe
Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe (6.1 and owned by 1.3%) could continue his good form in front of goal following his January move from Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has already registered four goals from his first nine Premier League matches since his arrival.
With the Cherries on a run of two consecutive wins, Afobe, along with his teammates, will be looking to make it three in a row when they host Swansea City this weekend. The Swans have been struggling this season as a win for Bournemouth could push them further away from the relegation battle.
